Neurodevelopmental Care
Currently offered at both our Baltimore and MWPH at UM Capital Region sites:
Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital offers Neurodevelopmental services for infants, toddlers, children and adolescents who have or may be at risk of having delays in any area of development including, language, behavior, motor skills and cognition.
These conditions include but are not limited to:
- Developmental Delay
- Cerebral Palsy
- Motor Dysfunction
- School Learning Problems
- Speech or Language Delays
- Autism
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Behavioral Disorders
- Genetic Disorders
- Feeding Disorders
- NICU "Graduates"
- Former Premature Infants
- Intrauterine Drug Exposure
Our services include a comprehensive developmental evaluation by a board certified neurodevelopmental pediatrician and, based on findings, referrals for other on-site services.
These services may include but are not limited to:
- Neuropsychology
- Psychology
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Speech Therapy
To Make a Referral
Referrals may be made to Mt. Washington Pediatric Outpatient Center by a child's physician, community health nurse, therapist, teacher or parent, by calling Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We offer two site locations: Baltimore City and MWPH at UM Capital Region in Largo, MD.
