Dynamic Movement Intervention
Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) is a therapeutic strategy used by physical and occupational therapists with the goal to optimize a child’s motor development. The therapists facilitate automatic movement patterns to strengthen specific muscle groups. One of the goals of DMI is to positively impact the growth of the nerve connections created during very young children’s development. We have physical and occupational therapists certified to provide this therapeutic technique during individual outpatient sessions and during our intensive rehabilitation day program.
