Two Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Nurses Named Baltimore magazine Top Nurses

BALTIMORE, MD (April 21) - Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) celebrates two “Top Nurses” recognized by Baltimore magazine in its 2025 Excellence in Nursing awards.
MWPH nurses being honored are:
Samantha Amedore, RN
Amanda Morris, MSN, RN, CPN
“As the newest executive member at MWPH, I have been so fortunate to witness the extraordinary care provided to our patients and our families on a daily basis,” said Jacqueline Newton, RN, MSN, CPEN, NE-BC, MWPH’s Chief Nursing Officer & Vice President of Patient Care Services. “With great pride and admiration, we are thrilled to see both Amanda and Samantha recognized by their peers for this prestigious honor. They are both boundlessly compassionate, caring, and committed to being the outstanding nurses that they are in their daily practice. Congratulations Amanda and Samantha!”
Hundreds of nurse nominations were submitted and, of those, 158 were chosen in 43 nursing specialties as the best in the region.
The nurses will be celebrated on May 13 at the Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre and are featured in Baltimore magazine's May issue.
