The neonatal healthcare team rounds at your baby’s bedside on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to be part of these discussions. 

Kayleigh Klatt, born at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, is the smallest baby born in Maryland to leave the hospital and continue to survive.

The specialist in pediatric neuropsychology is trained to diagnose cognitive and behavioral problems of the developing child as related to their neurological status.

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) is a specialty and rehabilitation hospital, and is co-owned and co-operated by the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. The externships at MWPH are 12-month placements, although opportunities to engage in a 9-month externship may be available if space permits.

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital offers a wide range of pediatric psychology services provided by or supervised by licensed psychologists specializing in pediatric psychology, with many years of experience working with children and families.

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital's Autism services include testing and therapeutic services for children suspected of, or already diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
