Adaptive Equipment and Seating
Therapists and rehab equipment vendors assess your child's individual positioning and equipment needs including but not limited to wheelchairs, adaptive strollers, walkers, standers and bath chairs.

Speech and Language
The goal of the speech language services at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is to maximize each patient's communication and oral-motor functioning status so that he/she will have use of the most efficient communication and/or feeding program.

Splinting and casting services are available through the physical medicine and rehabilitation program with Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.

Musculoskeletal Conditions
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are injuries or pain in the body's joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, tendons and structures that support limbs, neck and back.

Spinal Cord Injuries
Damage to the spinal cord that result in a loss of function such as movement or feeling. Frequent causes of damage are trauma (car accident, gunshot, falls, etc.) or disease (polio, spina bifida, Friedreich's Ataxia, etc.).

Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
A specialized clinic to assess the common disorders of Torticollis and Plagiocephaly is held at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
